In my last game I had a Brand on the enemy team that was able to Zhonya's through my Vi ult (while he was in the air). He did this twice in the match and completly shut down my ult causing Vi to just fall to the ground and be stuck for a few seconds. I've never had problems with it before, and I'm confused as to how he could use an active while cc'd.

He must be using Zhonya before your ult makes contact with him. Great timing. Looks like you'll be better off trying to fake him by using your Q instead of R.

That's the thing tho, he used it after I had already grabbed him. Like mid air he was able to use it
