Re-evaluate Ranked Matched Making

Half rant, Half genuine concern. I played a gold 4 ranked solo game and came to the post game lobby to review my game. Out of curiosity of the people I was playing with I looked at their profiles. I came to find that of 10 players: 5 Silvers (1-2), 3 Bronze (1), 1 Unranked, and 1 Gold (4) were all paired together.

Normally I would chalk this up to MMR matchmaking, which is understandable but when the single Gold 4 player is a Support How is one anticipated to "carry" a game as the "highest" MMR player on the team. I recognize that rank does not properly reflect MMR but when there's such a disparity of ranks over the appropriate damage and non-damage roles it is very concerning for the overall health of the game.
