Club Invites & Account Transfers [CLIENT]

So it seems if someone from another server and you send them an invite to join your clan, it shows the person who sends the invite that it was successfully sent, but the receiving end does not appear to get said invite to the clan. (I've had it happen twice now, I have 2 close friends who were playing on EUW but came over to enjoy playing more often with me and a couple other friends within our group, and they both aren't getting the invites to my clan, despite it showing me on my end that the invite was sent to them.)
