Trapped in Dynamic Queue champ select [client]

After completing ban phase in my ranked queue, our first pick was attempting to pick Yasuo top but started exclaiming with frustration that he couldn't get it to lock it in. When the timer ran out, rather than get sent back to waiting in line as someone had 'failed afk checks' we were instead just stuck staring at Yasuo and the 0 countdown on the timer. We could chat to one another but that was it. The only way I found to escape champ select limbo was to attempt to close the client, which although it asked me if i was sure I wanted to log out, just returned me to home page to start all over again.

It hasn't happened to me since. And never before either. I have a screenshot of the limbo experience although it doesn't look too special ^_^ just looks like dynamic queue captured just as top lane failed to select Yas.
