Mac Client: MASSIVE FPS + PING Spikes

I updated to 8.16 and now during games my FPS spikes to about 20FPS every minute or so. Dropping the resolution does not fix the issue, client restart did not fix the issues or a total repair. On top of that since 8.13 I'll get massive ping spikes. My actual ping is about 20ms. In game it's about 60ms and will spike every 3-4 minutes to as high as 1000ms.

Not a HIGH spec system but not low either. System Specs - 2.9 Intel Quad-Core, Radeon Pro 560, 4096 MB + Intel HD Graphics 630 1536 MB. 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3 RAM. Internet - 170 Down, 10 Up 20ms Ping.

Any other Mac users having the same issue?
