Cannot do anything in game - No solutions yet?

ORIGINAL POST: I open my client, queue, champ select and load into a game. When I get in game, I am unable to click, shop, chat, or move my champion. The hand mouse has turned to the basic sharp white one. I couldn't minimize or close out the game window. I closed out the client completely, but the game continued to run. Restarted computer, restarted client, tried again. I even tried on a different account.

UPDATE: POSSIBLE SOLUTION?

After a bit of research and digging, I found previous posts from a while back with similar issues. I uninstalled Discord and that seemed to have worked. There was also a comment on this post about** Discord Overlay settings** that would be good to look into ( see comments below )

Hopefully this post can help anyone else who may experience this issue!

I know you seem to have already solved it, but I thought I'd give you some info. Riot found that discord overlays were causing this problem in the past, so if you use discord, you could try turning off your overlays. I don't think uninstalling is necessary.

If you don't use discord, or disabling the overlays doesn't work, try running League of Legends in administrator mode. You can do this by closing the game, right-clicking on it's icon, and selecting the "Run as Administrator" option.

You should also be careful about using any other additional apps or modifications, as they can be prone to causing issues, and they're not something Riot supports. You can read more about Riot's stance regarding this here: Third Party Applications.

Ja es liegt an discord geh einfach in den task manager und beende discord im hintergrund

Just had the same problem atm.. tried the discord thing, or even reinstalling my drivers, didn't help

I'm experiencing this as well, have restarted comp, complete reinstall, patch, and repair.

I had this exact same issue. Holding shift+~ fixed the issue.
