[Possible Gameplay Bug] Kassadin and using Autos on towers
It appears that Kassadin's passive damage from his W works on towers; this is all well and good as he gets bonus damage while pushing. It becomes awkward however when you activate the W for the AA reset it provides. The active portion of his W which does bonus damage and restores some mana does not work on towers right now, so if you have your W active and begin to attack a tower or use it to reset your AA timer for that extra auto, you actually reduce the damage you do to towers. In the example above, you can see that my magic damage dealt to the tower went from 46 to 28 after activating the W for the auto attack reset.
Proposed fixes:
- Allow the active component of his Nether Blade to be used on towers.
- Allow the passive damage bonus of Nether Blade to remain active when attacking targets that your active cannot be used on (buildings).
This is incredibly awkward, especially for players who may be new to Kassadin or just not play him very often (the category I fall into) because it can cost you a lot of time pushing towers when you mistakenly go for that faster AA reset and then lose 10+ damage per auto on the building you're attacking.
This was first noticed in the ARAM I was in the middle of, and then I tested it again on Summoner's Rift to make sure the effect was consistent across all towers.
