Maintenance break crashed me out of a game

I got disconnected from a game despite not losing internet coverage. When I tried to sign back into the game, it said there was a maintenance break. I assume this is what crashed my game. In the future it would seem appropriate to either not allow games to start if the maintenance break is going to crash them midway through or to wait until the existing games are complete before cutting coverage.
