[Gameplay] Fiddlesticks' Dark Wind crows bounce to invisible Shaco despite no vision.

Steps:

  1. Enter any map as Shaco with an opposing Fiddlesticks.
  2. Unlock Shaco's Deceive and Fiddlesticks' Dark Wind.
  3. Have Shaco use Deceive and wait until he becomes invisible.
  4. Have Fiddlesticks use Dark Wind on any valid target near Shaco's location.

Result (10/10): Shaco becomes hit by Dark Wind as though he were visible.

Expected: Invisible characters who are not seen by the enemy team cannot be targeted by abilities, including abilities that jump to targets.

Notes:

  1. Issue confirmed in ARAM mode, version 6.12.16_06_09_17_31.
  2. Shaco cannot be directly targeted by Dark Wind once invisible, but the subsequent jumps will target him if he is nearby.
  3. It is unconfirmed if the crow can be seen by the enemy team bouncing to Shaco's location. If this is the case, this would further expose Shaco to ground-target AoE or skillshot abilities while invisible.
  4. This is especially painful in ARAM, as this issue triggers frequently due to the close proximity of valid Dark Wind targets.

Working as intended... Are you like level 5?

Level 30, and player for 4+ years, thanks. Still an issue, especially in some map modes like ARAM, and considering the large ARAM fix this patch, it may be something to consider. From a UX perspective, this is an issue since it represents an interaction set that invalidates a significant portion of a character's skill set, and offers no chance for counter-play.

I said its working as intended. Its supposed to be like this... What dont u understand? Anything that bounces affects stealthed targets. Ludens. Kat Q. List goes on. Stealth doesnt protect u or make u invulnerable or untargetable. It doesnt protect you from any aoe. How does it invalidate skill sets or has no counterplay? Simply avoid it like normal... Dont go near the bouncing projectile???

I understand what you're saying, but it's definitely not a healthy gameplay interaction. In many cases, you can't avoid it, and being stripped of your ability to effectively attack because you played to you character's advantages (invisibility) seems like something worth a tweak. At any rate, this is a bug report forum; a place for QA to see potential issues and help the design team stay on top of anything that may cause problems. If they don't want to fix this, it's their prerogative - just as it's mine to raise this issue to them.

Sorry not a bug.

I agree with you OP.. This makes absolutely no sense. I want to confirm that the enemy team WILL see your position due to this interaction.

Just finished playing a match as Teemo. I would be stealthed in the brush and the crow would bounce to me IN THE BRUSH and reveal my location to the enemy. An otherwise perfect assassination was completely ruined by this game-breaking interaction.

Now my only option is to ban Fiddlesticks in every game from now on. Thanks riot balance team, you guys are TOTALLY on-top of your game here.
