Aatrox Q crits with 0% crit chance?

I just watch TL vs CG week 2 of LCS, and the fight right before baron, you can see hi Q the minion wave mid and crit the wave twice with each Q. He has 0% crit chance and nothign says in aatrox's Q ability that it crits. Am i going crazy?

It deals more damage if he hits with the edge of it

His Q sweetspot counts as critical damage but it's not really a crit strike, it's just to show that the damage is being increased :p kind of like Karthus' single target Q damage
