[Client] (6.11 patch) Updating Terribly Slow

I usually patch in less than 5-10 mins but this has taken longer than 30 mins and I'm only at 4%. I've tried restarting the update and also disconnected all devices and also restarted my internet. I have high speed internet and am totally baffled at how this is taking this long. The client shows that it is only downloading at about 30 **KBS **which is terribly slow when you have to download 200+ MB of data. I have high-speed internet and have a download speed of 5MB per second so I have no idea why this is patching so slowly. At this rate it'll take hours to update!

Riot cares not about they're players. I uninstalled due to ~48kBps download speeds for their update. Have fun playing this shitty game. Not only do you get trolled in game, but also during update.. Whoever is responsible for the throughput of this patch service should be fired and replaced with people who are actually skilled with real world problem solving skills. One can only assume this failure is due to poor design. This one works

Here is the solution to your problem. Go to the league folder > rads > delete the folder named solutions. Run League and enjoy the fast update speed.

The solution for me was to manually run LoL as administrator.

I'm getting the same. Speed test is at 70mbps down and I'm downloading patch at 60 KBPS. League servers possibly? I have peer to peer enabled.

Same here, Speed test for 65mbps but only on 2% in about 30 min.

SAME did anyone try to get the patch files from other regions? It might possibly work. Especially when you try to get it from like Latin America, it could be better than 20kbps

Same here, started off with 800kbs even though my normal dl speed is 2mb/s, it just dropped down to 50kbs and I can't really afford to download this slowly. 4 hours+ and i'm still at 34% item 3070

I'm getting this issue as well - downloading 800+ MB at 200 KBps. I see that the comments here are about 3 months old with no RIOT input.

I'm trying to patch now and I've went from 39 to 41% in 30mins it's never taken this long
