Random FPS Drops

So anyways i just thought id make a post explaining my problem. Before i get started, i want to say that i used to be able to run the game 80 fps no problem. So my fps is locked at 60 but for some odd reasons at RANDOM times it drops to 20 for about 20 seconds than goes back up to 60. Now the problem is it drops in team fights (as expected) and it drops whenever like i could literally be walking back to lane and be getting 20 fps it is very frustrating and has caused me to lose games because of it. Btw i also saw some posts on reddit about this problem but what i want to know if riot is going to do something about it and stop telling me to update my drivers because they are up to date. p.s: my anti aliasing is turned off

Something definitely changed recently. I used to play with Anti-Aliasing on with 40-60FPS (not a gaming machine, so that was great). Since the 5.4 patch, AA makes me hover around 20FPS. I had to turn it off just to get back up to 40-60, but I still drop to 01 (actually 0) occasionally for 10-15 seconds. Sometimes this happens as I'm walking toward a teamfight, resulting in me being unable to change direction. Screen freezes, I hear background music, and nothing else. Movement restarts, and I'm either dead or on the other side of the fight.
