Disconnecting with no consequences

There has been this trick that does not punish me for leaving a game. When I have to leave a League match, (Parents usually) the trick I use is to hold the power button on my PC and have the whole thing shut down completely. When I know the match is over, I turn my PC back on and open League. I can see that match in my match history but I get no punishment whatsoever. Yes, I have used this trick about 10 times and I have gotten away with it. Now I want to share this just in case others know about this and I want fair games for everyone.

I have noticed a increase in the number of players DC-ing mid game. I tried asking Riot for a explanation and got my post removed. But its good to see somone knows whats going on, even if riot clearly doesnt.

only thing i know is that these concequences kinda suck,if u leave game for 5 min u get no rewards even if u solo carried which is ridiculous
