client issues

Usually I start my client the play button is grey. I hoverer over the play button it tells me to restart the client. Sometimes this works, other times my patcher cant connect. Also sometimes when the play button works the confirm button does not. Then it tries to tell me I need to patch when I don't. Any advice?
