Blue Side Jungler's Get Poachers Knife Smite Bonus On Dragon

Disclaimer: THIS IS NOT REALLY A BUG, JUST SOMETHING WEIRD I NOTICED IN-GAME

So for those who don't know, Poachers Knife is a smite upgrade item that gives you bonus gold, MS as well as reducing the CD when smiting monsters on the enemy side of the map. Apparently when you are on blue side, the dragon pit counts as the enemy side so you get the smite bonus. I just find this weird and a bit unfair, because purple side jungler's will not get the smite bonus. This is not game breaking or anything, just weird.
