PVP.net Pather Kernel is not responding

Yesterday I was playing, I went to eat dinner and when i came back I tried to start up League and the logo comes up for about half a second then goes away. I have been going to all the forums and trying everything like running as admin, deleting the launcher (the game redownloads a launcher but then the logo goes away again), running in compatibility mode, reinstalling the game, etc. If anybody could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! I just noticed that it says Pather instead of Patcher.
