Error creating a team (Beta competitive mode)

When i try to create a team in the new competitive beta mode it says the following (Unable to create a team.Check the service status and try again later if this keeps occuring.) And when someone invites me it doesn't show up for me but for the guy that invited me says that he was able to give me an invite but as i said it doesn't show up. I hope this was helpful.
