Figured out how to fix it just go to the PURCHASE RP in the STORE and scroll to PREPAID CARDS and enter the RP CODE in that one

You're doing it wrong... you click purchase RP and select prepaid gift card...its not a bug, follow the directions on the card instead of assuming you know what youre supposed to do.
