Could not remake when our teammate was fully afk from the start and didnt even load onto the screen

during the loading screen one of my teammates didnt even connect for a while, then once the first 5 minutes passed my team could not even remake because apparently the person was connected or there somehow when they fully werent? So me and my other teammates agreed to let the other team push and now im punished with a low priority queue somehow? Like riot please fix?
