Getting Dodge Timer From Not Banning in Normal Draft

Hey all, just wanted your input on this little issue I had with a normal draft today.

My friend and I queued up for Normal Draft. I proceeded to ban Kassadin, because well, it's Kassadin. He on the other hand did not select a ban because the champ he doesn't like to play against (Draven) had already been banned by a teammate. After the ban timer ended, it said that we had been kicked out of queue and we received a 5 minute dodge timer. Is this accurate? I have not selected a ban in previous games and been fine.

It should be, because that is dodging. I don't know why you weren't receiving a timer. For future reference, if you don't have a champion ban in mind, there's an option you can select to not ban any champ or my personal preference, ask your teammates if there's another champ they want banned.

So I have to physically select the no ban option. Im assuming there is a an icon in the champ pool that i just missed.

Yes, it's the first option available. It's the icon before Aatrox.
