[GAMEPLAY] Bonus gold from shut downs resetting from tower executions??

I just finished an ARAM (12:33AM Central time now.) In that ARAM i'd gone 7/0 on Misfortune, typically a kill streak that would award a shut down bonus for being killed. I executed myself on the tower, and after I rezzed the enemy Katarina killed me pretty promptly, but she received no bonus for killing me, no "shut down" shout was made, nor was a shut down/bonus gold message award in chat. I'm not sure if this is intentional, or something anyone else has noted, but i'll attempt to recreate the issue and report more if possible.
