Emote not received during emote down-time

First off I want to say that I'm not 100% sure if I should be posting this on this board. Apologies if I'm mistaken.

A few weeks back (I believe) there was a day or two when emotes went down. While emotes were down but before it was reported under the blue "!" button, I opened a chest that contained an emote (the one featuring the Lunar Revel Nasus). However, because of emotes being down, I couldn't equip the emote.

Emotes came back up and my new emote was not available in my list of emotes! It's now been several weeks, which I was hoping would give Riot time to give people any emotes back that they might have missed because of the bug, but that's not been the case!

I really would like to get the emote that I earned, and if I'm posting in the wrong place, I would like to know where I should direct my attention
