2 problems with the Client

The first problem I have been having with the client is that it takes me 2 log in attempts before it finally logs me in. This problem has existed since before the 5.10 patch. The second problem is that whenever i am just sitting around or in q for a game the client constantly tells me that i have lost connection to pvp.net like as if the servers went offline but once i manage to get into a game i have no problems what so ever.
