Game doesn't start. Keeps saying reconnect

After champ select and countdown, the game doesn't start.

Client says 'reconnect' but clicking this does nothing. The same screen appears after few seconds.

Restarting LOL, rebooting my computer, nothing works.

Lost 2 ranked games and got demoted because of this dumb issue. Game was working fine until this happened all of a sudden.

Any help?

If you have BitDefender, that is why you run into these issues. Go to your advanced threat defense and put leagueoflegends.exe as an exception. your welcome!
