Mac application Icons missing after launching LOL client

Hi there, It's been awhile that I had my Mac application icons missing on dock, finder and app switcher.

Macbook Pro
MacOS High Sierra
LOL Mac Client latest Version

I could never understand what causes this. after a restart it was fine but I was seeing my mac application icons are missing from time to time and it was driving me nuts cause I could never find a reason why this is happening. updating the MacOS and running applications like CleanMyMac was never able to fix it.

Then one day I wanted to play LOL with a friend of mine and asked him to install LOL on his iMac running the latest MacOS and then the same problem on his computer exactly happened. some of his app icons went missing. after restarting it was fine till you run LOL client to see that problem happens again.

Now for the first time I was certain such a problem is being caused by League of Legends.

huh, same here on an iMac with GeForce GTX775, not sure if this is a display related issue, app icons that has been launched after LoL client won't display their icon! After a reboot things will be back to normal, tried relaunching Finder didn't fix the issue and introduced more issues like not-responding Finder windows.

mac shitter here, i've just set it to "keep in the dock" after its launched, and toggled it back and forth every time i play only because it's an eyesore to see the not league icon on the bottom of my screen. hope it helps*[sg-ahri-2]*

Hi,

Same problem here. Happens every time there is a lol update. Every update messes also with Safari "Share" button (who loose almost all its content) and shortcuts (some don't work, like cmd-shift-I). This bug has been here from a long time ago and is very annoying.

Hate to bring this issue back, but they need to figure it out. I'm going to uninstall league because of this. Complete pain in the ass to have all of my icons look the same and making it not able to determine where each thing is.
