Syndra R not showing sphere count indicator as of 9.12

I noticed this while playing Syndra and I could also replicate it on the first try in the practice tool. The number on her R that used to show the amount of spheres fired is now gone suddenly. It doesn't matter how many spheres you have placed with your Q, the indicator is just gone as of patch 9.12.
