Multiple instances of game side applications created in Mac OS

Every time a game is started, the client creates an icon on the dock in Mac OS and I am not able to close it even with Force Quit and it stops me from even shutting down or restarting the system. It basically creates a unresponding ghost application which doesn't quit at all. Specs: OS: v.10.11.5 Processor: 1.7 GHz Intel Core i7 8GB DDR3, 2GB Intel HD 5000 graphics Reproduction rate: 100%

Edit: When I try to close the (old) client and re-open it, I am not able to do it and I get an error. But I am able to open the new alpha client.

What's happening on mine is something similar. The client stays singular. What happens is the game opens a new app. Then at the end of the game it does auto shifts to the post game client screen (i.e. I do not press Victory/exit game thing). The game app (victory screen) then stays up unless I swap screens and exit using the victory/exit button. If I enter a game without doing this multiple game-apps are created.

Based on that I suspect the problem is being forced to swap screens. Possibly some checks for game creation are falling too.
