Patch 5.5 "Unknown Errors"

I am just writing to see if anyone has a similar issue to myself. Often in the pregame lobby, I find that the picks will freeze. The people on my team can still chat to me, and I can still chat to them. The issue is that the timer goes away as soon as it should have ran out and is just stuck with the previous picks highlighted and the screen basically frozen. It is very frustrating to lose LP and have to wait for the timer to run out because of this freeze. I would like to inform you that I have 55 megabytes/second average as the speed of my wifi, and I know that the issue is not related to that. I am on a Windows 8 computer playing league of legends, if that helps. It is simply a very frustrating process, and it is annoying to have to deal with when I know my computer and internet are not to blame. By the time I am in the game, the players are often near or past level 5-6. This is where it freezes and the people can continue to chat me, but I cannot see picks or pick myself.
