zilean ulti not working

I just finished playing a game, Zilean supp and in the last seconds of the game as we were winning I ulted on myself just for fun and came closer to enemy fountain (not into). Lee flashed to me and kicked me into their fountain while ulti was still on me. I didn't revive, Lee got a kill. I'm just curious if this is supposed to happen in a situation like this. watch the video for details
