Unable to select champions given to starter players

So when I was playing League, after a few games when choosing a champion because of the bonus (play a game a day for a champion) I am unable to select the champion because when trying to hover over the select button it doesn't show up. But when I hover under the where the select button is supposed to be it shows the button but I am can't click it because if I attempt it, the button will disappear.

Yeah so I can't play league now yay

edit: to clarify I have tried restarting the client many times.
