Game Freezes while playing, forcing me to restart.

Can someone please help me out with this problem I've been experiencing recently. During my game, it would sometimes make a distorted sound, and begin to start freezing. My mouse would move extremely slow and jump around, until finally everything is frozen. If I am on discord, noone can hear me and I can't hear them. It forces me to manually shut down my computer and perform a restart. Happened to me 3 times last game.

Before, it would only happen once a game every other 3rd or 4th game. Not entirely sure why or what it is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
