Xerath root/ping issue?

Only when I play Xerath, do I get these crazy ping spikes and randomly get rooted when using abilities (besides ult). My ping is normal as my music and stream do not lag, just the game. My frame rate stays constant (400 fps uncapped). This only happens on Xerath that I have noticed so far. League name: TwerqWagen to look at the past few games, everything is smooth until I use Xerath.
