Client Crash

I just hit level 30 and wanted to do my first ranked match. I got my 16th champion unlocked and qued up. The match popped, I got in as a jungle. I put in which character I wanted to play, we got through the ban list. When we was going through rotation of picking characters, as soon as it was my turn my client crashed and stopped working. I do not know how to reproduce this but now I have a 5 minute wait to que because of this. WTF??? Like seriously, I don't even do anything wrong but yet I am being punished?
