Akali W visual bug

So i was playing GP top against an Akali. She used her W at one time, and i saw a bug. Her W instead of being an area of smoke that expanded, was like a bunch a smoke "clouds" that went into the middel of were she used the ability. It repeated this like 4-5 times. It made fighting against her while used the W impossible, since i didnt know how big the area were, and where she was. I asked the other players on my team, and even the akali, but they saw nothing. Anybody know anything?
