Ziggs bug, W unusable for entire game after being invisible when placed

i had black shield on me, chalice, boots 1, and a potion in my inventory, enemy yasuo, zac and bard were behind me. i cast my W under me and it disapeared, i wasn't able to detonate it and it counted as placed for the rest of the game. despite attempting to reconnect and level up the ability it remained unusable. I was mid lane, its possible the W hit a wind wall when i placed it.
