Random buglist #1
Hey hey!
You might know me for being the writer of a pretty decently-sized buglist on Mordekaiser. I've decided that from now on, I would do shorter, general bug lists, to point out all of the bugs I'll have noticed during the last week, weeks, month, etc. - in other words, since the last buglist. These bugs can be recent, or old, but all of them should be current; it's just a way for me to talk about these bugs instead of keeping them in the back of my mind during months or years. They're also sorted by importance.
1) There are bugs with the stacked temporary buffs. They can randomly not have their timer shown. I'm talking about Fervor of Battle, about the Spellthief's Edge's line of items, about potions, among many others. Sometimes, you'll consistently only see the amount of Fervor stacks you have, and not how long they'll stay. And that's completely random. One game, I had this bug on Fervor while my opponent had it on health pots at the same time. And it's pretty awful not to be able to know when they'll expire, so when you'll need to attack to keep them up! That bug was very common a month ago, but now I still see it crop up from time to time.
2) I couldn't write a buglist without talking about Mordekaiser, eh? Well when Mordekaiser gets the ghost of an enemy, he may get (way) lower stats than he should have. Here's a post about it: https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/bug-report/dUO3sjj7-gameplay-mordekaiser-does-not-gain-the-correct-amount-of-hp-from-ghosts I also had that bug myself. And the ghost was also giving me exactly 98 hp instead of around 300 (a quarter of 1200+). Pretty odd that in both cases, the flawed amount of health gained would be the very same. Consequence: Makes Mordekaiser squishier / a lot squishier when he's got a ghost. I think that bug is rare, but I may very well be wrong.
3) The tab menu can have every single champion put on the same line. Needless to say tha this doesn't make its read very comfortable. http://prntscr.com/g0zoce That bug isn't common, but still happens frequently enough to have a vast amount of people know about it. Also, nothing fixes it: you can't move the portraits, or do anything else. Maybe restarting the game can affect it, but that's far from an ideal option. This bug means that you cannot see anyone's CS, score or items. Additionally, you cannot mute (without using the chat command) and cannot ping summoner spells.
4) This one seems to go with it: That bug makes your health bar be black, as if it were empty, even when it's full or half-full. Taking any source of damage will make it flash in red. Even minion damage. And it's a veeery bright red. My eyes were hurting before the end of the laning phase...
**5)**Attack speed reductions don't affect Jhin's AD as much as they're supposed to. Expected (example): If Jhin has less than 100% bonus AS and gets his AS reduced by 50%, he shouldn't gain (or lose) any AD from his attack speed. His actual attack speed, however, probably shouldn't be modified. Actual (same example): Jhin keeps a great portion of his passive's bonus AD from AS (though not quite all of it) despite having no bonus AS. This probably deserves some explanation. Whenever a champion has an AS reduced below their base value, the statistic becomes gray instead of yellow, meaning that they don't have any AS boost. In my case, I was facing a Jhin with 34% bonus AS (RFC + masteries), 505 total AD, 70% crit and level 16, and putting a 47.5% AS reduction on him (Nasus's Wither) only made him lose 10 AD. So his passive resulted in a 32 + 70 x 0.4 + 34 x 0.25 = 68.5% bonus AD, up to 76.5% with Infernal. This means that he had 286 AD without counting his passive or Infernal. With the Wither, it should have gone down to 286 x 1.68 = 480 instead of 495 (or probably 481 with different roundings). Conclusion: AS debuffs reduce Jhin's AD by 29% of what they should.
6) Now this bug is pretty hilarious, but it can make you lose a game on its own... despite being a champ select bug. If you start a game slightly before the ranked queues are disabled for maintenance, you're in for some very strange things. I already wrote a post on it on Reddit, so I'll just link it. Basically, this is preventing you from changing your summoner spells or trading with another person (and you'll only know about the latter after all champs are picked), which has the potential to make you lose a game, just by itself.
7) I've had these white squares pop up over every single of the units I was mousing over. http://puu.sh/wgC42/55fe4f7410.jpg I was forced to restart the game, the bug would never stop otherwise and that was making the game unplayable. But fortunately, that's fairly rare.
8) Similar to the bug #2: Sometimes, Mordekaiser will flat out not gain any stats from the ghost. It's just going way lower because it's even less common. https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/bug-report/T931GhdG-gameplay-mordekaiser-does-not-gain-any-stats-from-target-ghost
9) When an Ezreal with a Duskblade uses his Q from a bush and hits a champion with it (with his Duskblade up), his Duskblade won't ever activate again, until a random time that's generally around a full minute. https://youtu.be/b2xAkcNe6-o
10) Still on Ezreal: Your W-flash is bugged. Normally, if you go through your W thanks to a flash or E, you'll get your AS bonus. But there are three scenarios that can happen: a) If you W then flash immediately (during the cast of the spell), you'll simply move your W and won't go through it. That's normal. b) If you W, wait, then flash, everything will be fine too: you cast the spell, then flash into it. c) BUT! If you do something in the middle of these two options, aka if you W, wait until the cast is over, but flash immediately over (while your arm is still raised from the cast of the spell), the spell will be cast from the location before you flashed, it will go through you, but will not increase your AS.
11) Another Mordekaiser bug! And worry not, a fourth one is coming. If an allied Tahm Kench eats one of your ghosts, he will spit it out as if it were a minion/monster, despite being normally treated as a champion (example: it increases the armor of an enemy Wukong, and can't be smitten). That's actually positive for Morde, but will extremely rarely happen. It gives Tahm a projectile, and allows you to put a Yasuo or something like it in the face of your enemy, as well as having a vessel for your W in convenient range.
12) In Twisted Treeline, there's an item named Wooglet's Witchcap, which is equivalent to the Zhonya's Ring (an item giving AP and armor, increasing your AP by 25% and with the Hourglass's active). So it reads "Increases your AP by 25% ([amount of AP gained])", just like in 5v5. But that [amount of AP gained] will always only display 0, instead of it being the correct amount.
13) In Sandbox Mode, applying Grievous Wounds on Target Dummies allows you to kill them.
14) When you don't have any point in Mordekaiser's Q and hover over the ability to have its description, it will read that the third strike has 0 base damage.
15) Pretty often, when someone scores a kill while being in a killing spree (or above), the announcer will say "You have slain an enemy", and then "Killing spree" (or whatever other thing it's supposed to say).
16) And more rarely, it will skip the second step to only say "You have slain an enemy".
17) In ARAM, sometimes, the announcer voice will simply not say anything after a lone kill. I say "lone kill" because when lots of things happen at the same time, the announcer doesn't say everything, but I'm referring to cases when there's really nothing standing in the announcer's way. Could never get a video of this, because you don't have that on replays, but it happens about once a game. On average. I very often see it more than just one time.
18) If you have a fully stacked Tear of the Goddess and upgrade it while you're dead, it won't be upgraded until you respawn.
I planned this list to contain about 5 bugs, but hey, I guess it doesn't hurt to report more than this.
