It adds clarity. Also, I'm pretty sure you can turn it off.

Character Inking. That's it.

Clarity of where your character is, and how big the hitbox is.

You can find it in 'video' options, I think you turn the 'Character Inking' checkbox off.

It doesn't help with hitboxes at all, fyi.

Just as misleading with or without.

Champions are circles, whose sizes often do not match the character, and many skills have hurtboxes that do not represent the animation of the skill well.

How can you not see this? It makes my eyes bleed everytime I'm there lol.

... What is seen cannot be unseen.

I always thought that was just the lighting from blue buff, but I never noticed how suddenly it cut off. Jeez, that's going to bug me for eternity now.
