Tristana's W ability o.o

There's a huge bug with Tristana's rocket jump. If she's rooted by my favorite kitty :P empowered bola, she's still able to use her W ability to jump to a safer place like over a wall, even though she's been rooted.. I have experienced this a lot in games. This is very frustrating, I hope you fix this soon Riot. I'm sure it'll be very appreciated :P.
