I can't change my smurf's email address to desired email address... help...

Dear Riot,

Today I made a smurf account with an email i've had longer than another one. Reason I made a new smurf is because I couldn't even remember the email address nor the username i've had for that old-smurf account. I did everything of following involving changing my password MORE THAN ONCE and trying it again. It didn't work. Is this supposed to happen or is this a bug?

I'm very frustrated trying to do something as simple as changing address to the desired one. What would happen is that I would change my password, login with the EXACT SAME password, I'd do everything like typing my new email address and then I would get "incorrect password" with the password I just logged in with... Please help.
