Rengar vs. Kha'zix Bug

When Rengar receives the head of Kha'zix (by completing the secondary quest) I encountered a bug. At the time of receiving the head I had a trinket. I decided to go back to base and buy the sweeping lens and to my disappointment the head of kha'zix had been removed. So answer this post back if this is a bug or the way it is supposed to be. thanks!

I've always been curious if this was the intentional nature of "On the Hunt", but I've always started sweepers on these Reng/Kha when against the other to be sure. Draven
