crafting timed out

i was trying to open hextech chest and i clicked open and i had a hextech key of course but window appeared saying CRAFTING TIMED OUT YOU HIT THE HEXTECH UNIT WITH YOUR WRENCH BUT NOTHING HAPPENS PLEASE TRY RESTARTING YOUR CLIENT IF YOU CONTINUE TO SEE THIS MESSAGE PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER ITS MAYBE ISSUES WITH THE SERVICE and i restarted the game but the hextech chest and the key disappeared and no loot can anyone help please
