Still trying to fix it?

Just out of curiosity, is Riot still trying to figure out what's wrong with their client or something? I've had a serious lagging issue some hours ago while I was playing online, and now when I try to log in, it just doesn't let me do so. It says it's logging in and says "Cannot connect to PVP.net" or something like that.

Are any of you guys succeeded to log in or is it all of us suffering this together?
