I'm kind of frustrated on these connection failures that aren't in my control. How do i rid of these issues. I just had a game where everyone in my game crashed and we all lost LP, not only that, I also was penalized for this problem into a low priority queue. Do i have to just deal with it? Or is this a problem that League of Legends are working on. My main question is why does it occur and how would i get rid of it, permanently if possible, because i hate these low queues and LP loss.

In-game I would be playing and in the certain one I played i was doing great! Then i saw my teammates all disconnected one by one. After waiting for about 3 mins to try and reconnected and restart my internet and router, I decided to just leave the game and try to reconnect which lead to the error of being unable to connect to the server. After attempting to reconnect to my internet about 6-7 tries I decided to maybe restart my client and log back in from home screen. And still the game would not allow me to reconnect to my game. Just when I was about to quit league for the day the game ended with me having a leave buster and a lost of LP. For the Players who did not leave while attempting to reconnect In-game, it seems they didn't lose LP. I would just like some answers to how to prevent these things whether they are or aren't avoidable.

P.S. Not sure if this should go into Help and Support or Report so I am just going to leave it here.

I want my LP Back. I'm in low priority queue. Thought it was my firewall, anti-virus. So I get low priority queues, less LP because you guys messed up. Makes sense.

i just lost my promos in 3v3, and got a 20 min timer priority queue, this happened twice now and im afraid of trying again once in ranked flex 3v3, and second in Ascension. check my match history the yasuo game in 3v3 and Ascension, only 4 people were in that game and with that i got the priority queue. i want my 19 LP back and and the ((20 MIN)) priority timer removed. not only for me but for everyone going through this bs and losing their LP and time.

I have Brighthouse/Spectrum (just bought out BH) as well. I hope that I don't get slammed for leaving when I couldn't even get in. Two games, same thing. Checked Inbound/Outbound exceptions and all that jazz too. I wonder if the weather is keeping a server maintenance guy from getting to work. Mid-'Murica is experiencing wildfires, and the NE and below are experiencing some pretty horribad weather as well. Also, spring breaks have started in many counties/states, so perhaps a call in? Oh-so-many things externally can go wrong....and then there is hardware, code, and ISP issues. Oh my! Either way, it would be cool to have a more aggressive notification about what is being looked into and what is being resolved...if anything.

I got a fuck*** leaverbuster for 20 min cause this lag riot Can you please return my account without the leaverbuster? It's stupid to get the leaverbusters because of your errors. Please j, I have already lost 25 lp because of this but I just do not care about removing me leaverbuster that I did not deserve thanks.

I was reported to a lower queue for being "AFK" even though i couldn't connect to the servers in the first place. now I have to wait an extra 5 minutes for each match that may or may not work still. I'm getting punished for Leagues mistake. This isn't fair. better fix this other wise im never playing again. btw, i don't even play rank.

After the champ select screen my screen went black and i got a message "Unable to connect to server. Please check your network connection and attempt to reconnect." I've been trying to get back in and the game i was in with my friend and apparently we had 2 people who didn't connect and so did the enemy team. Please fix this

If it is a problem that Riot is working on, then they should disable the penalties for people who are disconnecting. If Riot is working on it, then isn't it a problem on their end and not on the players end. My internet is hard lined in and I am connected to it and still not able to connect to my game. That way people can try to play without the penalties or fear of the penalties.

It happens to me too. I got two rank game remade and lost about 40 LP. Because I cannot connect to the server.

Got the same problem here, already lost 5 ranked games because of this.

I Also got a time out of 5 minutes for every game now!

Happens to me too, I can always reconnect by closing LoL then reopening it, but it still happens quite a lot more than it used to. Sometimes it takes more than one try of closing/reopening for it to actually work.

My friend and I both had this issue and we were in our series games in duo queue. We both were counted as losses and have two losses in our series now because of it. I contacted Riot Support IMMEDIATELY because I was pretty upset (not raging, but it is kind of messed up!) and they said to make sure to check server status beforehand queuing up & that they're working on the problem.

Found it slightly misleading since we checked server status before queuing and all servers were up, and they STILL are. :[ I know this is probably a tough situation to handle but I really hope we get some sort of compensation..

Yo guys. So this just happened to me. I also got LeaverBuster. But now there is a Repair Tool in the settings if you get into the home page but can't reconnect. It takes a while and afterwards, it wouldn't reconnect. But when I pressed Retry again, it connected me. YAY!

same thing happened to me to in a normal game and i got 20 min queue time for 5 matches cause of it. are they gonna remove people's queue times after they fix it or am i just gonna get some bs queue time?

that same thing happens to me too... woudnt let me connect to game and now they gave me 20 minutes "leaverbuster" penalty like wtf..riot you should investigate and remove our afk penalty cause it was due to game bug...

What I find stupid, and I know the majority of these post are along the same lines... but with these recent connection problems why are we getting leaver busters? I understand Riot can not 100% determine who can not connect and who just dodges. But because I couldn't connect with these recent issues, why am I getting a leaver buster??
