I only get a black box after starting LOL

So, I click on LOL on my desktop (windows 10) and a blank black box appears, and I have to use task manager in order to close it.

Interestingly enough, this is the first programming bug i have experienced on LOL in a long time. The only other issues I've had have been internet related.
