Client crash and repair causing losses

I have been having this problem for nearly two months intermittently. I will get all the way through champ select, but as soon as the loading screen appears the game crashes. After numerous attempts to reconnect it always disconnects before the champion portraits show up. If I reload the client, it tells me that something is broken and if forces me to either close the client or run repairs. The repairs always take longer than the three minutes it takes to call a /remake. Is there anything I can do? I have re-installed three times since this problem started.
