Project pyke voice issues

Sometimes when im playing project pyke, mid way into the game there is no dialogue, i would do CTRL+1 or 2 or 4 and nothing comes out of it, idk if its intentional or a bug, and i don't know how to replicate it. but am i the only person that has this issue? [sg-zephyr]
