Brands q not stunning

In plenty more than one occasion today I have seen brands q not stun. I have not had this problem at all until the most recent patch. When I first saw it happen I was confused so I made sure to watch closely when I tried to ablaze/q stun. During several matches today I took note of multiple times where I saw a target ablaze and yet not get stunned by q at all. In two of the cases there were no merc treads involved or any sort of cleansing capability. A couple times I pointed it out some other people took note of it as well. Going to assume this is a bug of some sort so if this could get fixed that would be capital
