I click on the icon, and it flashes the logo before disappearing. I tried all the ways I know of opening something, but it won't open. Help?

Leauge shouldn't open windows 10..... windows 10 should open league though.

Try holding ctrl+alt and press delete go to task manager and look for anything involving league/ riot being open in there, highlight it then click end task. Then Try opening league again if this doesn't work then idk.

Does it just never open or has it opened earlier but wont open now? Had to do what I said a few times myself since game is running in backround apparently and wont launch because of that. Might have to use advanced view or whatever if you don't see backround processes in task manger (not sure how to do it off the top of my head though)

I've had the same issue many times and a simple restart used to work, but not anymore now that it has happend again. There are guides out there which is supposed to solve this but the only way working for me is as explained below.

Before you follow my guide please check that there is no League Of Legends / Riot processes running in task manager and restart your computer and have a last go on trying to run League Of Legends.

Note that you do have to reinstall the game but depending on how the uninstall reacts detirms what you have to do but it's very simple and straight forward. You have to do as following:

  1. Before you uninstall please locate the download folder which can be done simply by right clicking League on your desktop. It's probably in your C: Drive under Riot Games. Again also make sure there is no other league processes running.

  2. Now uninstall the game.

  3. Then look if the "Riot Games" Folder is still apearing where you found it. If it's there and you can't delete it then it's a bug and I have not solved how to remove those but you should still be able to play league just jump right to step 4. If there is no Riot Games folder containing files that cannot be deleted you can safely download and play the game again right now.

  4. When you are reinstalling League Of Legends make sure to create a new folder of your prefered NEW name example "Riot" and choose this location when you download the client. Everything should work like normal then but the remaining files on your previous folder "Riot Games" will still be there as again I've no clue how to delete.
