Still no verification email (almost 2 weeks later)
So since I've made my account, I have been harassed every time I try to play the game with a "your account email must be verified" pop up. Now I say harassed because it does not let you click anywhere else or even play the game until this is done. Almost 2 weeks later, I still have not got an email. Now every day I click the resend button 50 times, yes 50 times exactly, I count. I do it on both the website and the game launcher, still no email. I have even tried changing the email, still nothing.
I believe this to be unacceptable for a company of Riot's caliber. With how much money they rake in a year, you can't even manage to get an email verification working properly? (and no I'm not a special snowflake THOUSANDS of other people are having the same problem). So what is the excuse?
How hard can it be to send an email to someone? This is why (in my opinion) Riot needs more staff and needs to stop relying on computer automated programs. There are plenty of qualified yet unemployed people in America. I am sure you can spare a few pay checks to hire people to work customer service and send emails out. I mean it's been years and there still isn't a real support system? It's email riot and get an automated response 2 weeks later., or make a forum post and get a bunch of troll responses from players and one mediocre response from an employee. Where is the person to person interaction? You wonder why your game is so toxic, its because you automatize your support and banning system and no one has a chance to have a real discussion with another human being to dispute issues or work out problems. It creates frustration and raises doubt and lack of trust. Even as I am typing this I am already anticipating those troll responses and a riot employee giving me some lame excuse but not actually solving the issue, it's sad that that is what goes through my mind when looking for support.
But hey, if only I was a streamer like Nightblue right? I could just text my friend who works for riot and get it handled on the spot ;) #Integrity
