so i got windows 10, i can log on, but after champ select i cant get in game. right when the game should load it goes black screen then a pop up message says "An unknown DirectX error has occurred and League of Legends cannot start. Please make sure your video card is using the latest video drivers from the manufacturer. and i have got all the video drivers for my laptop and still nothing :/
Hey guys I believe I may have found a solution to this. I am currently running windows 10 preview and had issues launching the game. Here is how I have fixed my issues.
And that should fix it! League now works perfectly fine for me on windows 10 preview.
I've heard other people say that League does work on Windows 10.
The biggest question is why are you complaining about a Tech Preview not working? Figure out your problems and post them on a Microsoft website, not this one!
My question, is whether or not you can switch back to Windows 7 after you upgrade. If someone could tell me that would be great
Mine won't open at all. :/ I try to open it but it pops up a message tht says (I have to translate god) "A problem caused, that the program stoped correctly working. System Windows will close the program and tell you, if there is a solution to it." (or something like that) original message in Czech: "Problém způsobil, že program přestal správně fungovat. Systém Windows program ukončí a oznámí vám, zda je k dispozici řešení." I seriously ddon't know what to do.
I also was having troubles with Windows 10, I followed the 10 steps of the comment below but what worked for me was checking the 1st and third box. If that doesn't work keep trying different ways, that's what i did. Best of luck.
I keep on getting the bugsplat error after champ select and have done everything that the site suggested and even uninstalled and reinstalled and repaired
I was having a similar issue. Not exactly the same but my game was freezing during load screen. I tried this fix with the troubleshooting and it was the only thing that worked so far.
Im having a slightly different problem
I download everything correctly, but when I try to open up the game, it goes to a small window that says "PVP.net is not working" and then it just does its own troubleshoot and says its done with the problem, just to not open the game at all. Im using a dell desktop and I feel like the windows 10 update might not support the use of DirectX correctly or something?
Anybody who can help me with this, would be be greatly appreciated~ :D

Are you just testing it on here or flat out trying to use Windows 10 as an operating system?

I sit their for 20min and then after champs slect 100% nothing sit 5 min then try to re-log to a game that is already over.

im having an issue were after i downloaded windows 10 when i open league it would start fine then when the launch screen should come up it would instead come with a popup saying "PVP.net Patcher Kernel has stopped working". I tried redownloading league and i still have the problem.
I have problem, can someone help me ? I have bad English so i must tell sory right on start :D ... I instal window 10 and play lol all normal, luncher is normal, champ select all work good, but when game start in some moment my hero don't wanna listen me, its not lag, i have good internet, its not fps, i have about 200 fps on ultra hight graphics, i play all good and in one moment hero just stop, i see everything around me normal, all its work exsept my hero don't wanna listen me... Anyone have this problem ?
